Our cafe refresh is coming soon and in preparation we’ve wrapped the windows in paper, ready for the big reveal at the end of the month. We still have to confirm the exact date of the reopening, but it is looking likely to be towards the first week of March. When we have a date the details will be released onto the website – to save you checking, you may want to subscribe (there’s a form at the bottom of the page!) to our newsletter of my musings on cafe life and children’s entertainment, as the announcement will be emailed to everyone on the mailing list too!
Hopefully the newsletter will give you all a chance to get to know me a little better… but for those of you who know me well, you will remember that I’m a creative person and I LOVE refurbishing things and giving them new life. I love to take something that others would throw away and find a purpose for it. One man’s trash is definitely my treasure! But this can sometimes come with a terrible side effect… of… hoarding. Thankfully the cafe refurb is going to give me a wonderful chance to put to use some of those beautiful treasures that I’ve been “keeping safe” to good use.

There will also be another type of treasure making an appearance at the cafe when it reopens. I am pleased to announce that Becs and Rikki have both agreed to join me a few days a week back at the cafe when it reopens and I couldn’t be more delighted that they were able to come back. We have lots planned for them and we will do a proper re-introduction, but for now, I hope you join me in welcoming them back and wishing them the best of luck… I have a feeling we are going to need it!
